How can I make my aquarium stone bubble work?

I just got a aqua culture aquarium stone bubble from walmart. I plugged it in with my air pump and theres only a little line of bubbles coming out. I have the as much air comeing out of the air pump as posible. And some people say to soak it? what does that do?

Can I clean a saltwater aquarium to use for a freshwater?

I am looking to buy a fish aquarium. I have looked on craigslist, and found a nice tank that I want. The only problem is, is that it was a saltwater aquarium. Can I clean it and use it as a freshwater tank? Or will it kill my fish? If you need aquarium salt for some freshwater fish, will it be ok?

How to prevent mold and mildew around a aquarium?

I have a 29 gallon aquarium and would like to move it inside but have had problems in the past with mold and mildew on the wall next to the aquarium. I cannot afford a dehumidifier, and this would actually replace our humidifier. I want to prevent the mold from happening in the first place, i already know how to get rid of it.
Not algae, MOLD, not on the aquarium on the WALL!

When placing real plants into aquarium, is it better to keep them in bunches or seperate them?

I was wondering how you place your aquatic plants in your aquarium. I always had trouble with my plants when I put them in bunches. The stem close the root seems to break but now when I plant them stem by stem leaving 2-3 inches between them, my plants do better. They actually do very well. Any suggestions? I’d like to add more plants to the tank but wanted some advice first.

The tank gets 11 hours of light per day and my current plants are doing ok with the exception of 1 stem.

How do I clean fish aquarium accessories?

I am getting a betta fish sometime soon and I already have the pebbles and plants from the aquarium I used to use. My previous little fish I had died from an illness, but I do not want that to happen to again..
I want to use the tank accessories but not the tank itself, i’m getting a new one along with a new filter.
